GeoTraffic Roadwork Roundup - New York City!
August 18th - August 24th
Due to the Brooklyn Bridge Ramps Rehabilitation Project, several lane closures
may affect motorists travelling between Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Overnight Detours for Manhattan-Bound Traffic
Monday - Thursday nights: 11 P.M. to 6 A.M.
Friday night into Saturday morning midnight to 7 A.M.
Saturday night into Sunday morning midnight to 9 A.M.
Monday - Thursday nights: 11 P.M. to 6 A.M.
Friday night into Saturday morning midnight to 7 A.M.
Saturday night into Sunday morning midnight to 9 A.M.
Cross Bronx Expressway (Alexander Hamilton Bridge) between
Amsterdam Avenue and Webster Avenue. One lane may be closed on the Cross Bronx
Expressway in each direction 11 P.M. to 5:30 A.M. weeknights, 12:01 A.M. to
5:30 A.M. Saturday.
One of three lanes of the Van Wyck in each direction may be
closed 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. and 1 A.M. to 5 A.M. Monday through Friday between
Jewel Avenue and Union Turnpike.
In New Jersey nightly roadwork has begun on the Palisades
Interstate Parkway and will continue until December. Please consider using Mass
Transit or an Alternative Route.
The I-80 Express Ramp to the New Jersey Turnpike Southbound
roadway is closed for bridge work. All traffic to the Turnpike Southbound
roadway must use I-80 Local. This new traffic pattern will remain in effect
until this November.
