GeoTraffic Roadwork Roundup - San Francisco!

GeoTraffic Roadwork Roundup - San Francisco!
September 1st - September 7th

On Wednesday, September 3rd at 12 AM, Caltrans will close the southbound I-880 ramp for paving and a minor realignment of the traffic lanes. The northbound ramps from I-280 and I-880 will be closed to allow debris removal from the roadway. Caltrans estimated time to reopen the roadway will be at 5:00am.

Starting in August, every Tuesday and Thursday between 1:00am and 3:00am until October 2014, Caltrans will install a series of eleven 25-foot-high overhead sign frames that will span the width of the westbound I-80 lanes between Cutting Blvd in Richmond and Powell Street in Emeryville. Full lane and freeway closures of westbound I-80 in the vicinity of the installations will be required, weather permitting. Detours will be available via frontage roads. Full freeway and lane closures are also planned for Tuesdays and Thursdays between9:00pm and 5:00am.

Caltrans construction has closed CA-1 in both directions and detoured traffic onto San Pedro Avenue, south of Linda Mar Blvd, in Pacifica as part of the San Pedro Creek Bridge Replacement Project.
